The FLAXi Weighted Eye Pillow calms the mind, emotion and energy by gentle acupressure to the eye muscles while you inhale the tranquil aromatherapeutic blend. Made from 100% natural hand-printed cotton, and filled with food-grade flaxseed, these nifty and beautiful eye pillows are designed to be used as a hot or cold compress. They contain a bewitching blend of grapefruit, lemon, bergamot, lavender, and ylang-ylang essential oils for a truly transcendent relaxation sesh. 

The weight of the pillow creates pressure on the extra-ocular eye muscles which stimulates the vagus nerve, which in turn improves mood, wellbeing and resilience. It also triggers the oculocardiac reflex which decreases heart rate by more than 20%.

Directions for use:

Hot therapy: Heat the eye pillow in microwave for 30 second increments until it feels warm.

Cold therapy: Place the eye pillow in a sealed bag, inside the freezer, until it feels cold.

Find a quiet room to lay down. Place the FLAXi Eye Pillow across your eyes, making sure it reaches your temples on both sides. Effective with a hot, cold or room temperature eye pillow.

Why Flaxseed? 

Whole Flaxseed provides a soothing, moist heat which has proven to promote healing. Flaxseeds (which are flower seeds) are used in FLAXi bags rather than grains, as they contain 30 - 40% oil which remains inside the seed and can be warmed over and over again. Other treatment products will lose their ability to retain heat over time, as the water in them eventually evaporates. Flaxseed will never produce the “cooked grain” smell that other grain-based products create when heated over multiple occasions. Additionally, the reduced weight of Flaxseed provides a gentle and comforting texture to our FLAXi bags.
